Dr. Laura Peterson grew up in Bad Axe, Michigan where she experienced her first chiropractic adjustment at the age of twelve. Laura struggled with daily headaches as a child; unable to go through a full day of school without feeling debilitated by the pain. After being put on numerous different medications to treat her migraines, which left Laura feeling fatigued and unable to function, her parents decided to seek another form of care with a chiropractor.
“My chiropractor saved my life. For the first time in two years I felt like I was able to go through a full day of school like a normal person. It was that moment that I realized I wanted to help people the way my chiropractor helped me.”
Dr. Peterson went on to receive her Bachelors of Science at Central Michigan University, followed by a Doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. While a student at Palmer, her interest in sports led her to become a volunteer in the community sporting events and participated in the school’s rehabilitation center, caring for patients with injuries.
She spent her last semester of graduate school in Indianapolis, Indiana where she interned along-side Drs. Nate and Cole Blume, caring for and educating patients of all ages about health and wellness. Since graduating in 2013, Dr. Laura moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she associated for four years and gained further knowledge about the well-being of patients.
Dr. Peterson is dedicated to providing resources that inspire and empower individuals, families, and organizations to achieve their unlimited, innate health potential. She is actively accepting new patients and looks forward to the opportunity of serving the community through chiropractic care.
